1975 Porsche 914 2.0 liter 5-Speed AC 90K original miles
|
 |
Easy original 914 project, complete minus D Jetronic fuel injection. Super straight body, only very minor rust in battery tray, does not need replacement. Pans have zero rust, AZ car with no accidents or body work ever. All glass is good, no chips or cracks. 2.0 liter rims in great shape, no curb rash. Lots more pics, follow link at bottom of page. |

Vin # 4752900109 – According to my research this is the 108 th 914 built for the 75 model year, one site shows this as a 75 1.8 liter but the car has engine # GA012662 which is a very late 74 2.0 liter D-Jetronic engine. The car has 90k original miles and it doest look as if the motor has ever been out of the car. |

The car was running on a set of Dual Dellorto 40’s 2 weeks ago. The motor actually sounded pretty good but a compression test revealed one weak cylinder, I think it was # 3. Type 4 motors are known to lose valve guides in this cylinder and I think this is the cause of the weak compression. This means that the motor would need the heads redone or new heads installed. Car feels very solid, tight front end, good clutch, good CV joints, exhaust etc. All of the tries are bad except one. The car does not come with carbs or fuel injection and the heads have been plugged so nothing gets in them. |

Interior is in good shape dash has some cracks, seats look good no rips, center console has tears in cover. Very nice original door panels. This car is equipped with AC which is complete including compressor. The compressor still has the belt hooked up. Bottom seat cushion have electrical wires running to them so I’m assuming it has heated seats but cannot find anyway to turn them on. Gauge panel between seats would need some kind of console as it is just sitting there. Nice front and rear trunk areas, has original jack. Missing trunk key mechanism so the trunk can’t be locked. Doors are very solid, even seam gaps, no sag but passenger door handle mechanism is tricky to operate and would probably need to be replaced. |

“A-class” Actual mileage Arizona title. Overall a very solid and original 914 that would make a very easy project.
