UPDATE - RELIEF EVENT SUCCESS!
OrangeForceOne and OrangeMane members teamed up with the Buckner Foundation to help raise money for roughly 4,000 new members of our community who have relocated to Denver. The event started at 6:00am and the fundraising continued until 6:00pm. Alot of much needed cash was raised along with 2 full U-hauls of food, clothes and toys! There were many members from the Denver Nuggets on hand working directly with volunteers. Even Mayor Hickenlooper made an appearance to help out! Special thanks to Chanita Campell who helped coordinate the event, KS107.5 radio for broadcasting the event all day long on the radio, and Club Rise that donated some space, supplies, and funds to the foundation! |
